Kirei Salas Volunteer

Hello everyone!

I would like to start by telling you that this month started with big changes for me. Upon

assuming the challenge of being part of the Young Adult Volunteer (YAV) program of the

Presbyterian Church (USA), I was afraid that I would not be able to fulfill what was required of

me because I already had a stable job and had been told that I would assume new functions. In

my worry, I asked God to guide me and give me an answer about what he wanted for me and

my professional life and to help me be ready for the path that he has prepared. After this

request, almost by surprise, I received the news that I would no longer continue in that job I

had. I have to confess that I was afraid and I doubted, but I did not deny what was before me

because I have faith that God knows the reason for things, and I am sure that he has something

very big prepared for me.

With more time available, and after being part of the training sessions carried out with the YAV

program team and the Peru team, I joined the AETE team within the Communications area. My

functions are graphic design, video editing, publishing on the website and broadcasting the

conferences telecast through the YouTube platform.

This month, I supported the broadcasting of Pastor Oswaldo Fernández's conference, in which

he commented on his research ¨The Impact of Holiness on Evangelical Churches¨. Likewise, I

supported the campaign for the dissemination of the book “ESCATOLOGÍA, POLITICA Y

ESPERANZA EN AMÉRICA LATINA. Homage to Juan Stam” by preparing the designs for the sale

of the book and the invitation to the presentation tables, in which the writers of each chapter

of the book took part.

We hope that we will be able to reach the sales target for the book and that it will serve new

students and trainers in the theological sector.
